Prayer In The Garden - The Gospel of Jesus Christ

This is After the supper when Jesus Christ went to Gethsemane to pray because the hour was at hand. Here we see Jesus spending some few last moments with His few disciples before the Crucifixion.

When Jesus could feel that the time has come, when He could taste the death already, He turned to God and Prayed. Because Prayer is power, Prayer empowers us when we are weak. Prayer can change God's mind.

 The effectiveness of your prayer depend on your relationship with God.

 Jesus asked the disciples to watch with Him while He was praying alone, the bible records that His soul was sorrowful, the bible records His prayer when He said "if it is possible let this cup pass from me; Nevertheless not as i will but as You will" Jesus allowed the will of the Father to happen in His and through His life even when it was not easy, He allowed the will when He was sorrowful, He could already see what was going to happen to Him.

We are saved today because He allowed the will of the Father to happen in and through His life. Because when the will of God happens in and through your life it won't save you only but everyone around you will experience the breakthrough. healing and deliverance. Let us allow His will to happen in our lives because His will is perfect. It might seem like it leads to dead but at the end there will be life!

Jesus at this hour He needed His disciples to watch with Him but He found them asleep when He came to check on them, because it happens when you are at your last straw and deepest need of your fellow saints to stand with you in prayer but find them to be no where to be found where you need them. Some at that time will be like ignoring you because they can't understand what you are going through. When the will of God happens in your life people don't understand what is happening until the work is complete. Sometimes it doesn't make sense until is done.

Jesus Christ in His prayer He mentioned that the flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing. That's why Apostle Paul encourages us to walk according to the Spirit because there is life in abundance found from walking according to the Spirit and being led by the Spirit. The flesh can make you quit the race before the finish line. Don't listen to the flesh whenever you feel weak, but listen to the willing Spirit that's in you. BE LED BY THE SPIRIT

Allow His will to be done in your life, work life, community life, church life no matter where you are and what you are doing.

As am writing about this, I am so sad crying inside because of what the church is experiencing and of the 3 rd weapon the devil is using to cause distraction, fights and division. The final hit that the devil takes on you is to give you pride, take you on high and make you to think you don’t need anyone or anything, make you to look down on people, to stop listening to their opinions. You feel like you are enough by yourself and whatever you do is enough it doesn’t need any help. Everything that goes on without your approval/consultation is not good enough. We believe by faith what we can see, feel, smell, touch and hear. We believe God by faith and everyone who received from God in the bible and in this generation is because they believed God.
