Lost and Found Series: THE MAN - The Gospel of Jesus Christ


I thank God that Adam was able to realize after eating the fruit that he is now lost, the glory is gone..He is now vulnerable, the image is gone, the likeness is gone., the position is gone, the man is lost!
Today the church is not respected because the man is not found in the church, the church no longer shows the image, the likeness of God. They can’t be distinguished from other ordinary churches. They are lost in this world, confused.

You find the Man you find God.
Find the man first before you can find the relationship.
Find the man first before you can find the money, before you can find that business.
Find the man first before you can seek wisdom, understanding from God.
Find the man before you can find the power.
Everything that God said it should be in this earth in the book of Genesis 1 he said it is good every time he said it. But after he created a man, he said it is very good.
After Man lost the image of God, man no longer sees God when they are looking at themselves, they saw hatred, competition and rivalry.

The likeness of God is the knowledge of God, the wisdom of God.

Adam was able to name all the animals that God brought to him and every animal’s name today is what Adam named it because they responded to the image, likeness of God. Creation responds to the image of God. When man’s eyes opened to sin, he hid himself, Adam hid the likeness of God, Adam hid the image of God. That’s why today we can’t tell if a person is a Christian because we can’t distinguish them from the world, the image of God is lost in the church today.

Going to church every Sunday doesn’t show the image of God, singing loud and dancing in the church doesn’t show the likeness of God. Wearing the best formal clothes doesn’t show the image of God. But you showing love, long suffering, patient, kindness, authority it shows God’s image.

The image of authority
The image of rulership
The image of power
The image that doesn’t bow to the standard of this world.
The likeness of God that calls things into existence out of nothing.
When man fell, he started showing the opposite side of the image of God.

Th image of fear
The image of doubt
The image of procrastination
The likeness of bitterness
The likeness of hatred.
When man fell, he started to know stopped knowing God and started to know evil, sin.


Put on the image of God.
Put on Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15 verse 45-49
Ephesians 2 verse 14-18
He created in Himself one new man that’s why the man is found in Jesus Christ because he was created from Him.
Ephesians 4 verse 22-24
The old man is there but don’t put him on but put on the new man. This is the man that was created to live in true righteousness and holiness.
                                                                            
   CHRIST THE IMAGE OF GOD

You are created to show the image of God
To show the beauty of God.
To show the magnificent of God.
Show the likeness of God
Show the image of God!

What To Speak - The Gospel of Jesus Christ

When God is sending you or commanding you to say something to his people, he always tells you what to say. He gives you the scroll (His Word) like He would to the old testament prophets. He never sends you empty handed or without spoken Word. In Jeremiah 1: 7, He says “I have put my Words in your mouth”.  God has put the Word in your mouth, you have to let the Holy Spirit help you speak those Words with power. You can’t speak without the Holy Spirit helping you. In fact you can’t do anything without the Holy Spirit and I mean you can’t afford to do that without Him. Hearing From God - The Gospel of Jesus Christ

We hear God speaking to us by reading of His Word, we hear Him by interpretation of tongues. God is always speaking but man is not always listening to God. You just need to ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual ears to hear what God is saying to you today.  God can speak to you even when you are busy doing shopping at the mall. A lot of times God reveals Himself in our situations where we are out of choices having no where to turn to. You have to show Him that you love listening to Him by seeking to hear what he has to say.  What I love is that God’s Word is not just words but Words of life that can change your situation, your life, your family and your business. Don’t be ashamed to show your weakness when you come to God so He can fix them.  He said He will never leave nor forsake us; He is always there for us.
